Mission

To unite Arab efforts and foster participation in building a capable and sustainable Arab Federation that advances the field both scientifically and practically, with the aim of providing rehabilitation and habilitation services to those whose needs have led them to seek our support, by the will of Allah, the Most High.

Vision

To achieve qualitative and advanced development in the field of prosthetics and orthotics throughout the Arab world.

Objectives

First: Providing support and assistance to its members in various fields, particularly:

• Developing and evaluating work methods to achieve the best possible service, productive, and economic outcomes, and exchanging expertise among members for this purpose.

• Obtaining advanced modern technologies and consolidating the efforts of members to make such technologies available under the best possible conditions, while adapting and utilizing these technologies in accordance with the nature and actual circumstances of members' activities and facilities.

• Conducting research and preparing scientific and technical studies, as well as economic feasibility studies for proposed projects; providing guidance on establishing contact with specialized Arab and international centers of expertise; and establishing a specialized Arab Academy to develop knowledge, skills, and scientific research.

• Organizing scientific, practical, and technical conferences and holding various training courses in all member countries, while supporting the establishment and implementation of new projects or the expansion of existing projects in a manner that meets the needs of the Arab world and the target beneficiaries of these services.

• Resolving scientific, professional, technical, commercial, and other problems submitted by members through the performance of the tasks entrusted to the Federation.

• Meeting members' needs for expertise, studies, classification systems, and professional practice mechanisms for specialists, while encouraging members to exchange materials and equipment among themselves whenever necessary.

Second:

Encouraging Arab associations, service-producing centers, members, and institutions affiliated with the Federation to act as one unified group in their relations with other entities, and providing them with support in this regard.

Third:

Serving as an arbitrator when called upon for this purpose, or contributing to other arbitration proceedings whenever requested to do so.

Fourth:

Encouraging members to establish joint Arab centers or specialized academies for research, development, and training, and submitting proposals for the establishment of such institutions to the Council of Arab Economic Unity for consideration and approval, following consultation and cooperation with all relevant Arab organizations.

Fifth:

Establishing strong cooperative and supportive relations with other Arab federations and organizations in order to achieve the objectives pursued by the Federation, and establishing cooperative relations with foreign organizations concerned with the Federation's field and activities.

Sixth:

Developing training and professional development programs to enhance the competencies of specialists and personnel working in the Federation's field of activity, and providing support and assistance in implementing such programs.

Seventh:

Publishing newsletters, magazines, and periodicals, and organizing seminars in order to achieve the objectives and purposes of the Federation.

Eighth:

Organizing and participating in seminars, conferences, and professional events in order to achieve the objectives and purposes of the Federation.

Ninth:

Providing the latest Arab and international technical, economic, and commercial information and statistics concerning raw materials, production supplies, intermediate materials, and finished products.

Tenth:

Assisting members in meeting their needs for technical and administrative personnel through the exchange of personnel and expertise among them.
